1983年生。中央大学法学部准教授(国際政治学)。東京大学法学部卒業、Boston University(フルブライト奨学生)及び Yale University(Department of History)留学を経て、東京大学大学院法学政治学研究科博士課程修了、博士(法学)。著書に『帝国アメリカがゆずるとき――譲歩と圧力の非対称同盟』（岩波書店）、主な論文に“Japan’s Quest for a Rules-based International Order: The Japan-US alliance and the decline of US liberal hegemony,” Contemporary Politics, Vol. 26, No. 4; “Japan and International Organizations,” (with Phillip Y.
